We recommend that you send your game to us in a padded bag which is in good condition.
Choose the smallest size that your game will fit into comfortably, size recommendations:-
- Size 1 or D is ideal for most CD/DVD based console games
- Please avoid using Size 0 or C because cases can get damaged in the post

The average Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1, PS2, PSP or PC game should fit into a size 1/D padded envelope and will cost you 70p to send to us first class or 60p second class as a large letter. Don't let your post office charge you for a package, this will cost £1.25 and is not necessary.
If you wish to send your game via recorded delivery it will cost you an extra 70p and can be tracked here using the tracking code given to you by the post office at the time of postage. Alternatively, if you're looking for peace of mind and insurance against loss, you can simply obtain proof of postage from your post office. This provides you with £34 of insurance cover and costs you nothing extra. In the event of your game being lost in the post Game Share will process the insurance claim through Royal Mail.
You have the following options for paying for your postage:-
|
- Buy 70p worth of stamps, stick the stamps on the packaging and place it in the post box. You will not be able to claim compensation if the game is lost in the post.
- Take the packaged game to your local post office and pay for the postage there according to weight and size. This is always 70p for a single game. Make sure you get a receipt as proof of postage, then if it's lost in the post, you can claim compensation.
- Go to the Royal Mail Website and print your own postage.
- Recorded delivery is useful if you want to be able to track your game. However, recorded does not give you any gaurantee of safe delivery.

The team at Gameshare are aware of the environmental issues caused by the single use of padded bags. Therefore, we have a policy of reusing padded bags where ever possible. To help us with this, please use labels when addressing your packages so that we can remove them and reuse the packaging when we send the game on.
