History Gameshare was established in 2006 by Kevin Hacker and has become the UK's favourite game swapping service. Driven by the desire to improve the service Gameshare was bought out by WhyBuyGames.com in late 2008 and Gameshare Ltd was formed. This takeover has enabled Gameshare Ltd to expand and ultimately improve services utilising the experience and expertise of the WhyBuyGames.com management team combined with Kevin Hacker's industry knowledge. What is Gameshare? Gameshare enables gamers across the UK to swap their unwanted or completed games and as a result gain the most enjoyment possible out of their consoles. We strongly believe that gamers should not have to put up with poor trade in values on the High Street. We don't charge a monthly subscription and each swap costs from £1.20 (depending on how many credits you buy). Gameshare is run by a dedicated team who believe in why Gameshare was established and all work together to achieve the best possible service. The team has many years experience of running online businesses and have always had a strong interest in gaming and the gaming industry.
